Patch 29249637 - Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: mv: cannot move (..)

In the middle of applying patch 29249637 I came across the following error: ''Caused by: java.lang.Error: ApplySession failed in system modification phase... 'ApplySession::apply failed: mv: cannot move ‘/u01/app/grid/12.2.0.1/lib/libasmclntsh12.so’ to ‘/u01/app/grid/12.2.0.1/li

b/libasmclntsh12.so.bak’: Permission denied"

and /u01/app/grid/12.2.0.1/lib is actually owned by root (root:oinstall, and drwxr-xr-x - no write persmissions for the group and others). The thing is that I cannot run 'opatch apply' as root user. According to opatch log file, this patch has already made some changes in my newly installed Grid environment (some file have already been copied). Now, I could add
