Expected outage time for R12.1.3 to R12.2.8 upgrade
I understand there is no standard, cookie cutter answer for the question that I’m about to ask here because of various factors such as system sizes, capacity, database size, modules, etc., But based on your internal pooling from other customers, what would you say is an ‘average’ elapsed time to upgrade straight from R12.1.3 to R12.8. Right now, we have about 112 continuous hours in our test environment. This comes to about 4.6 days!!! Is this within the expected range? The idea behind this is to be able to set expectations for the system availability. We have already gone through two (2) practice iterations.
