Meter Reading - AAI

Hi All,

I want to ask you someting about meter reading process. I don't understand logic of AAI detail in meter reading process. Why do i need to define AAI for meter reading? Is it not prossible to contunie the process only for keeping preventive maintenance work order process? Can you please explain why it's necessary?
