I am having a problem with my Production Oralce Wallet Manager gui.

I recently upgraded our database to 12.2.0.1 using dbua.  We are running linux 7.

I went to apply a new certificate in my production Oracle environment using 12.2 Oracle Wallet Manager (OWM).

The tool popped-up normally. I went to menu and selected Open, then navigated to our wallet directory. It popped up the password box which I filed in. I got an invalid password response. I messed around trying a couple times until I hit a password fail limit. I tried to open the wallet using the 12.1 version of OWM. Same result.

We also have an old 11204 oracle home and launched OWM from that version and it was successful
