Is it SAFE to terminate long running AP Trial Balance definition rebuild? (Open Account Balances Dat

The Open Account Balances Data Manager and related TB Worker 1 (Open Account Balances Data Manager Worker Process) were started over 4 hours ago for an AP Trial Balance definition change and rebuild. Usually, when I run this at night, it takes about 3 hours to complete. It's running in our PROD instance for over 4 hours now and I need to know if it is OK to terminate/cancel this to free up system resources (and then I can run it again later tonight when less resources are being used).
