Enrollment Requirement Roster - Grades Showing as "in progress" but grades exist

When I look at the Enrollment Requirement Roster/Enrollment Requirement Status, I am seeing students with an "in progress" grade status for a class taken in a previous term even though the student has a grade in the class.  When I click on the Audit/Information Links/Course History for the student, it shows the class with the grade.  This is causing problems with our prerequisite checking where a class failed by a student is showing in the enrollment requirement roster as "conditional" because grade is "in progress".  Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated!
