Is it bad to clone a pluggable database in 12c while the database is in use

We have automation in place to clone a pluggable database in 12c.  Because we sometimes have issues with the automation we want to move the process to happen from off-hours to business-hours when DBAs can better monitor the process.  Does anyone know if doing this would cause performance problems on the database being cloned (while end-users are working, database is supporting a PeopleSoft application)?  What server resources might be maxed out by doing this?
