SYSAUX tablespace growing to fast due to DB audit tables. Is there a way to purge old records?

My SYSAUX tablespace has 3 datafiles at 32G.  The  next datafile is also growing too fast due to DB audit tables.  Is

there any way to trim the DB audit tables to keep from growing out of control or to recover some of the used space?

I forgot to mention that we are running Oracle 12.1.0.2 under a dataguard with a physical standby.
