Equipment Time Entry Void

I have a batch entered for Equipment Time Entry. Half the batch is Posted, all twelve lines have a "V" in the GLRE, which implies they were voiding. The amounts on the unposted transactions are the reverse of the posted transactions (I'll take that as good news). Does one normally void a batch this way? The Equipment admin is trying to delete the batch and can't since half were posted. Should they try posting the batch to update the remaining transactions?
