How to exclude an hours type from the timecard total

hello,

I have a requirement to exclude an hours type in the payroll/projects timecard from the total hours in all the pages - entry, confirmation, review, approval. How do i that?

Ex:

when I enter the hours type "Regular" hours as 8 for Monday thru Friday and then enter hours type "Break"  as 1 hour for Monday thru Friday, the horizontal/vertical total hours should exclude the hours type "Break".

Is this possible.
