Deprecation of Patch-Plan based Patching for Oracle Database in Oracle Enterprise Manager

Hello Everyone,

Oracle announces deprecation of older Patch-plan based patching for Oracle Database (including Grid Infrastructure) in Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c. We recommend customers to use Fleet Maintenance for all patching and upgrade activities. Reference KM Doc 2634855.1.

How to get started with Enterprise Manager’s Fleet Maintenance?

    • You can learn more about Fleet Maintenance at oracle.com

What is the impact of the deprecation and de-support?

    • It is recommended that customers currently using Patch Plan based patching start using to Fleet Maintenance for all patching and upgrade activities.
