Is it Possible to create a warranty contract based on Some Event

Hi,

Our requirement is as below -

1. Organization sells the product to the customer. A standard warranty is created based on the BOM where a warranty item is associated with One Year Duration. (This is done)

2. However there are some customers for whom the organization wants to extend the same coverage warranty additionally for an extended duration. This duration varies for various customers in each operating unit. This is called as special warranty in business.

3. The users expects to have both standard warranty and special warranty contracts separately i.e. first the standard warranty contract will be active and when it expires the special warranty becomes active providing the same coverage.
