How do you manage sickness absence in Oracle R12 v12.1.3?
Our business would like Oracle to manage sickness absence more efficiently as the current processes require too much manual intervention.
The issue causing the problem is overlapping absences, where the wrong absence end date is being picked up by the participation process for a period of sickness absence resulting in incorrect salary payments . An SR was opened and we were told the intended functionality is to report the overlapping absences as an exception during the participation process so remedial action could be taken.
Can we stop specific absence types being picked up the participation process e.g. annual leave?
