Best practice for ASM for 18c

Hi, would like to know what are the best practice/options here for Oracle 18.5/RH7.5, single instance and 2 & 3 RAC nodes, currently we are using UDEV, please suggest/advise.

Just read some where that Oracle is promoting ASM Filter Driver, and the future plan is to go away from ASMLib, please confirm?

My question is, which one is better; UDEV or ASMFD or even ASMLib, and why too?

As Oracle seems to be coming out of ASMLib, please correct, if this is a wrong understanding, please assist/guide, as we are building a new environment, would like to go with the best approach and practices.
