Does ECC honor MOAC (MO Operating Unit or MO Security Profile) ?

Does ECC honor MOAC (MO Operating Unit or MO Security Profile) ? We are implementing shipping dashboards and would like to know if ECC dashboards will honor MO operating unit or MO Security Profile setup and display list of orders for that OU/security profile only
