Add new physical disk to VM guest

Hi all,

I use to add new LUN's from SAN to OVM servers and then assign them to VM's, on a weekly basis, but recently the same "error" occurred for the second the time. I don't know nor found any info related, reason for me to be here hoping someone has a clue.

The only thing found was on Oracle Support about the DOC.ID 2329123.1 and DOC ID 2349682.1 which tells me nothing...

The first time it was possible to restart de VM and with that the new added disk was recognised correctly allowing me to extend the desired LVM.

Now and for the second time and without the possibility to restart the VM, I'm facing the strange error again. The VM simply didn't recognised the new physical disk I've added.
