Old Partitions are beeing accessed while Running GL Report

Hi,

We have executed the monthly GL report from 27-DEC-2019 til 27-JAN-2020.

This report took around 16 hours for completion.

While analyzing for root cause we have fetched the AWR report (PFB) and it indicates that queries taking long time while accesing partition of July2019.

Here the question arises, that why this Partition is being accessed at all as the GL report period does not include that period.
