Can I install ECC on OCI and integrate it to On-Premise EBS 12.2.5?

Hi,

I saw the announcement that ECC framework image is now available from OCI console marketplace and I wonder if I can use that to install ECC on the cloud and then integrate it to our on-premise EBS? Or do we need our EBS be on the cloud as well?

We are on EBS R12.2.5 with RDBMS 11.2.0.4 running in Solaris SPARC 11.
