RMA without affecting GL

Hi,

We are on R1213 with average FIFO costing.  We use field service to service our machines in the field.

we want to implement RMA process where we receive broken parts from our machines back into our inventory, without any impact on GL.

We did uncheck Asset subinventory flag on a subinventory and received a part in it. It was received at its last layered cost.

We want to avoid this.

Is this possible?
