Stop data guard replication on old DR OEL5 and setup new DR to point to OEL7

My primary database (2 nodes RAC with Oracle 12cR1) is replicating to a deprecated single instance DR OEL5. Therefore I would like to stop all replications to DR OEL5 and setup my new DR to point to OEL7 (new server with only database software installed). What will be the best approach? Please can you provide the detailed steps to stop replications on OEL5 and setup OEL7. Thank you for your precious help and I hope to hear from you soon.
