Activity Guide Task Configuration on Launch Page

We built and assigned a student activity guide with Load displaying on the Introduction page (ACAD_LOAD_APPR on the Display-Only Page Regions on the Task Configuration Launch tab).

The Registrar's Office did not realize the Approved Academic Load field was displaying and would like it removed.  Is it possible to remove the display of this field on the activity guide tasks that have been assigned?  I tried removing the field from the Display-Only Page Regions, which resulted in an error when I tested with a student who had it assigned.

If it is not possible to remove this field from the activity guides that have been assigned, what is the appropriate way to do this for the future?
