Creating a Wave in WMS does not fetch any orders

Hi All - We are in the proces of implementing on-premise WMS 12.1.3 . I have created couple of orders which are scheduled to be shipped in the next 2 days. I created a wave with schedule ship date within the next 7 days however it did not select any orders. Is there any specific setup required for creating a wave in wms? Any help would be great.
