BF : D760220C - DeleteFlatFile .. not delete the file but delete data in the file???

We have a UBE is using Business Function D760220C DeleteFlatFile,  But what from the UBE behaviour, I bellieve this BF do NOT delete the file.. but rather than empty the file.  It there a way or doc to confirm about this?  I don't have Visual studio install in the cloud server so I cannnot see the code.
