HRIS and Finance Support Model

This question isn't about PS functionality.  It's more of a question of how other organizations that have both FIN and HCM.  We currently have a HRIS team that focuses of HCM.  The thought was that our HCM Business Analysts could play more of a role supporting FIN along with HCM.  Do other organizations combine the support for FIN and HCM into one team on the functional side?  I'm thinking security, core foundation table, workcenters, PUM updates, testing, requirement gathering, etc.

If so, how are you structured?  What do you call the team/function at your company?  What job titles do you give to these analysts who support both HCM and FIN?
