Linear asset creation

Dear Srini and Arun,

My client has all asset details  in GIS same needs to migrated to EAM Module

1.But  far as I know when we are creating asset from EAM java forms we can enable linear asset attribute

2.From OAF page we create asset and enable Linear asset Attribute

In the both the ways asset will be available on GIS map viewer for work order  creation and etc...

But My client saying that they all their asset details are available in GIS and same needs to be migrated ,As have not analysed the system so far looking for experts advice on the same
