Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. JDK in Oracle Home

Hi Oracle experts,

Our audit department found that there is a JDK directory in the Oracle 12c database software installation directory (Oracle Home).

They said that there might be license legal issues.

1. Should I purchase a separate java license for that JDK ?

2. Can I remove it to avoid license legal issues ?
