Using JDE PO Print R43500 to move open lines to Next Status 999

My purchasing group several years ago asked for a simple way to cancel out remaining lines without losing the Open Data. They could then look back at where things ended on that PO.

I found that using R43500 and having them enter the PO# and even PO Line#'s in the data selection, while setting the Processing Options as:   

This worked for a large number of Purchase Orders exactly how they wanted it to.

Not for all though oddly, which is my question.

The data selection grabs the correct line, and prints it, but does not update the Next Status. Most of the time it works, but not always.
