Advance and Deferred revenue recognition using Accounting Rules

Hi,

I need any documentation on how to setup and use the accounting rules for advance and deferred revenue recognition using Invoicing and Accounting Rules. I have tried searching metalink/ oracle documentation but have not found any material/ whitepaper on the same.
