jdbc patch on client

Hi,

Could you suggest what is the preferred way of the client jdbc patching?

I'm confused on the jdbc patching of win64 client 19.3 (downloaded from public page).

First I opatched the client by "Patch 30445947 - Windows Database Bundle Patch 19.6.0.0.200114". OPatch succeeded.

Then I search a "generic jdbc only patch", but I did not find. So I applied "30484981 - Oracle JavaVM Component 19.6.0.0.200114 on Windows".

Even if OJVM patch need not on client, but contains jdbc updates, as I read. OPatch succeeded.

Notes:

- OJVM patch does not contain jdbc directory. So no jdbc update in OJVM ?

- But Bundle Patch contains jdbc directory with new (ojdbc10.jar) and modified (ojdbc8.jar) files, what are copied in the jdbc dir of the client. So there were jdbc updates, what was not in the OJVM patch ?
