Unable to open Depot Repair form in read only mode

Hello ,

We have  a requirement to  create a consolidated menu  from OM,AR,INV,WIP,PO and DR  responsibilities and create a common responsibility  in Read only mode.

For the depot repair when trying to search based on Service Order , SR or Job name, getting  message FRM:41051: You cannot create records here and followed by another message after clicking ok on first  message. FRM: 40401 no changes to save. Finally have to exit out of the application to get out entirely. Attached screenshot for reference. We are in R12.2.8

Appreciate any pointers on what could be the cause and how to resolve this
