Can we exclude Oracle RAC in our new Environment

Dear All,

currently we are running Oracle 11g Database in our production environment with Oracle RAC. now we are Planing to upgrade our Database from 11g to 19c on Virtual Machines, that's why we are thinking to install Oracle Database 19c without Oracle RAC environment. Is this is good approach , Can we achieve the High Level availability with Virtual machines ?
