Kernel Zone - is SAN disk configured in KZone or Global Zone?

Is there a way to configure a pass through option so that the SAN disk is seen only from the kernel zone? or does the disk have to be presented from the global zone?

I have performance issues where a solaris 10 branded zone has faster read/write to Luns than a kernel zone has - am i doing something wrong?

I have a SPARC t5-2 running 11.4 (patched January 2020) with 1 x solaris 10 branded zone (patched January 2020) and 1 x Solaris 11.3 kernel zone (patched January 2020 with latest LSU - this has to be 11.3 as the app vendor do not support 11.4)

My 11.3 Kernel zone (has 128 CPU's and 128G mem 64G swap) this is more resources than the sol10 zone and yet the sol10 zone writes a 10G file twice as quick:

Howdy, Stranger!
