DEPRECIATION CALCULATION

HI everyone

I'm trying to understand when and how a catchup is calculated , is there any tool on ebusiness suite which can help me understand the catchup calculation for a specific asset.

sometimes the catchup amount is clear to understand , but sometimes we can't figure out why system calculate the catchup and which formula is used.
