Importing BP Designs

We have a sandbox environment that we use to demo/test functionality.  One of our clients wants to use one of the designs we already have built.  We exported the XML of the design and tried to import it into their environment and we are getting an Invalid File error. Does anyone know what could cause this? We've done this dozens of times and never had an issue.
