UITM in P4311 26 characters

Good morning, in 9.2, for W4310A, a user is entering a PO for a name plate for a new employee.  It is a non stock item entered as the employee's name, which is 27 characters.  It does not stop her at 26, it instead allows her to add all 27.  But then when the PO is saved, it is a letter short.  I have duplicated it and a print screen is attached.  It's strange because I also entered 26 characters and it stopped me after 26 but when I enter the name as the user did, it allows 27.  Is
