PDBA Benifit with monthly maximum

Hey Team

Can anyone assist

i would like to setup a PDBA code to have a user add a an entry for a benefit. However there needs to be a maximum amount for this benefit on a monthly basis.

Eg

If a user adds his on call hours they will be payed a

rate x number of hrs worked.

If On call total crosses $1500.00 pay maximum $1500.00
