Changing Life Months on an Active Asset

Hello,

I have been asked if there is a way to update the Life Months of active assets?  We have about 153 assets that we need to accelerate the depreciation to get these assets fully depreciated by year-end.  I am assuming I will need to go into each asset and update the life months from each one's start date to the end of the year and put that number in the life months field.  Is this the best way to handle this or is there a way to do a mass update of life months?
