sysconfig configure question

Solaris 11.4 x86 virtual server on VMware.  Need to shut off the DNS property in the system configuration in a non-global zone.

Logged into the console of the non-global zone as root:

zlogin -C <zone>

console login:  etc

entered sysconfig configure

Message:

sysconfig configure

Root filesystem mounted read-only, 'configure' operation not permitted.

The likely cause is that sysconfig(8) was invoked in ROZR non-global zone.

In that case, see mwac(7) and zonecfg(8) man pages for additional information.

2nd putty session to the server:

Entered zoneadm -z <zone> reboot -W in the global zone (I want temporary write privileges)

Back to the 1st putty session--in the console entered sysconfig configure

Howdy, Stranger!
