Trade Transaction to be created from shipment or Order Release

Hello All,

I am having a query like from where we need to create the Trade transaction .

Because the OTM gives option to create option Trade transaction from Order and shipment so from where to create the transaction .

Or is it the case that we should need to create from both the object that is Order release and Shipment .

It would be great if anyone can share a business case like where to create the trade transaction.
