Zabbix and OVM servers

Hi all,

Two kind of questions:

1 - I may guess that we should keep OVS servers stick to the OS it self, yet I'm wondering if would it be safe to install zabbix agent on such servers, allowing to better monitor them.

2 - What do you guys use to monitor OVM servers?

Currently the only thing I've is a simple check on Zabbix to constantly perform a ping (very, very simple) and of course, all the operation will immediately complain about a non working servers (guest servers) or about all running on my OVM cluster (knocking on the wood)
