How does one get access to firmware and OS updates?

Specifically is it possible to buy individual updates for say a T4-1? Or some other limited form of support that would be accessible to an individual developer using a T4. I don't really need and probably can't afford full blown tech support.... I have the base version of 11.4 on there now. If there was a reasonable way to pay for download of updates, without being able to file SRs for instance at a lower cost I'd probably pay for that.

I bought a license to the Java SDK basically just to test drive MOS, and get access to changlogs and such but that obviously doesn't include downloads for things that are not part of the Java SDK or other FOSS.
