Can we add component in common bills

Q: Can we add component in Common Bill, if yes, what is the correct way of doing that ? For example: Bom is created in Org A and made it common for org B and C -- can I add a component in Org B ? 

Q: Best way to find source org for common Bill ?

Please suggest. Thanks.
