Global Payroll and Absence Management processes do not identify employees with LOA

Currently we are on PUM Image 30, and the AM calc identify process is not picking Payees with LOA status.

we know PUM Image 33 is fixed this with some delivered configuration page to setup payee status for the calc process.

But at this time we not applying PUM Image 33, and would like to add customization(s) to our existing PUM 30 to allow employees with and EMPL_STATUS = 'L'

to process within our Absence calculations.  Has anyone applied these customization's to allow employees with EMPL_STATUS = 'L' to process in Absence?  We would like to have a list of those objects that were modified.
