Statutory Parental Bereavement Leave and Pay

The regulations for Statutory Parental Bereavement Leave and Pay were passed on 9th March.   At this point the detailed guidance clarifying specific scenarios is not yet available, so it is still unclear exactly how some points will work. 

Oracle are currently working on providing a seeded solution in line with other statutory absences and payments, based on our understanding of the legislation, but there is no confirmed timescale yet for releasing it.  Until this is available, any employer in the unfortunate position of needing to process a payment of Statutory Parental Bereavement Pay from 6th April should follow the guidance issued previously:
