Business case for the use of "Reverse expenditures in a future period" flag

Hi All,

I understand that the "Reverse Expenditures in a Future Period" flag is used to automatically reverse expenditures in a future GL period, but I would like to know when this option can be used from a business perspective.

So, can anybody here help me providing with the business scenarios/cases with examples for the usage of this flag?

Your assistance in this regard is highly appreciated.
