Partial retirement

Hi

We are using customize report which is  Asset Retirement but now we have a new scenario which is parital retirement case where asset not fully retirement e.g: we have asset cost 2100,000 now we apply partial retirement now its cost 2000,000 so the retirement ativity found on GL but how we check which asset is this relvent for this retirement batch because in GL batches are not mentioned asset # at all so how we know which retirement is this ?

Because how our technical guy link this JV in customize report, how we know which asset is this ?
