Compensation cycles

On Merit Increase compensation cycles,Is there any option for compensation administrators to exclude individual employees  from mark ready to load ?

Requirement is ,merit Increase is not processed when employees are on LOA.  Merit increase is kept on HOLD and processed when they are back from LOA and the employees on LOA still needs to be allocated to the funding and calculate the salary increase along with other employees.
