Create Standalone write off with Subledger

i have a write off reason code set up and AAI RAxx set up which point to an object account with PEC = "L" - required subledger.  When i create a standard receipt with Standalone write off inputthing this reason code, i am not able to post this batch - with PEC error.  Is it possible to book a standalone write off to an account with subledger?
