Is Lot Grade verified during Ship Confirmation?

Hello, We are planning to use Lot Grade functionality using 2/08 Grade Potency Preference Profile. (JDE 9.0)

Is this functionality considered at the time of Ship Confirmation (to ensure that we are not picking/shipping a lot which is Outside the Acceptable Range for a given customer)?
