What happens to the Form Extensibility changes to an application when we upgrade from a lower Tools

Hi Team,

Please let me know that , if we make a change to an application using Form Extension and if we perform a tools promotion from TR 9.2.1 to a new Tools Release(TR 9.2.4), will the changes made to the Form Extension(UDO) be preserved(available in the newer Tools Release) ?
